Tree story's 1

ones upon the time about 16 years ago we lived with my family in an old farm house in Dithmarschen Germany.
A beautiful poplar tree was standing at the site and be seen from miles away. We loved the tree instantly and wished he would be in the back garden to be able to sit underneath the tree.
The tree could sense that we loved him and began to talk to us.. A Tree talking you might ask? Yes , a tree can talk not like you would talk to me but he can talk with dreams.. visions feelings .. and sometimes if you have the eyes to see the spirit of the tree may come to you ... and follow you for a bit. And so did he. His gentle spirit was curious.. one day..
My children and me were outside watching the little flowers making their way to the spring time as we became aware of the tree. We went to him and gently touched his bark.. Where asking him to be our friend. My children told him :Can't you walk to the back garden? And many things like that. As I explained he can't they put a little blanket underneath the tree and sat and chattet and played. .... I did the things a gardener has to do.. and went later in the kitchen... I felt a present beside me.. and saw the spirit of the tree.. Wow.. you are beautiful came out of my mouth and the tree spirit smile and left a beautiful atmosphere in the kitchen..After a while my children told me the tree is talking to them.. and he said he will take care of them :) A friendship began.. for many years.. We dreamt of the tree spirit and when he was curious he followed to the back garden for a short while.. to see what we were doing.
He survived many storms .. big hurricanes which smashed our big barn in pieces, but the tree was going strong.. not even a single branch of him where a threat in stormy times to the house.. We know that he was somehow protecting us.. Our tamed crows where sitting in his branches and doing a lot of mischievous things.. ..
My daughter one day needed a stick to make her first charm.. so she went to the tree to ask for a stick... she gladly came in with one stick.. And as she worked on it she got anoint as in her mind her work was not beautiful.. so she went out again to ask for another stick.. she got another one.. and still had to complain.. and she went again.. a bigger twig felled out of the tree right on her head.. :) .. and as she went in she complained the tree is mad at me .. throwing sticks on my head without the wind.. but I know .. I should be more humble and happy for that what I', getting.. a lesson was learned..
The time went by and we moved to England wishing fare well to our tree.. 2 years later my daughter and me had a dream about our tree. The tree spirit came and blessed us with sweetest love a tree can give..
We thought he was just saying hello... a few weeks later we know the truth..
The new owner had killed the tree ....
he came to say good bye .. to wish us well..
our wonderful friend the poplar tree.
