Rune charms

Runes have been used for charms in olden and now in modern times again.
We can get Rune pendants in pewter silver or gold. They are all looking beautiful, but yet I thought I want to do something different, and as I read old books about Runes and traditions pictures in my mind where leading me to wood again. Wood is warm to hold in hand and it is connecting with Mother Nature in a very special way.
In those times 10 years ago, a friend of mine came back from his trip to America, where he spend time with native Americans. He learned there a technique with wood and gemstones. I felt that is the way I would like to make Rune charms, wearing them was a very effective way for me to work with the Runes. My friends liked the little charms and so I began to create this little charms as people ordered them.
The little pieces of wood are collected in the same way as the Ogham sticks are collected. In fact they are from the same journeys into the woods. You can find the information how the wood is collected under the Ogham page.
What a Rune charm is for:
A Rune charm can be a good companion on your way. It can connect you always with a Rune you feel drawn to.
For example if you feel lack of energy and motivation and courage of doing things, the Ti Rune can be a good charm to wear.
If you need strength as you are in a new beginning a charm with the Rune Berkana may help you.
If you looking for a love in your life, or more harmony in relationships. Gifa is a good charm to wear.
You can strengthen your Rune charm in chanting the Rune while holding your charm in your hand and chant some affirmations. This can be a powerful tool for you in your situation you are in.
